Floor Surface and Natural Light
Economy Floor Sanding Brisbane recently completed this hardwood floor for a client in Carseldine. As seen in the images, there is of course, a lot of natural light flooding onto the surface. Additionally, the owners have many large format windows, also without curtains. As a result, the light comes from multiple directions.
In this scenario, the natural light will generally highlight any defects in the surface of the hardwood floor. Because of this, I first angle sanded in both directions to get it dead flat. Together with a high-end property, the client was also fastidious.
Foundation work is the Key
The result shows that the foundation sands are in fact the most important steps for a superior finish. The owners are as pleased as I am with the finished result. The surface of this hardwood floor is in effect, flawless, from every angle and in all lighting conditions.
